Anette has hired a personal manager, the well-known Swedish management company, Hagenburg Management. In an interview given to the Finnish women’s magazine Menaiset, Anette goes back on the last weeks of the 2008 world tour, and especially on the concert in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, during which the singer left the stage while they were playing “The Poet And The Pendulum”, with the official excuse that the excessive amount of smoke was preventing her from singing in good conditions. In the interview, Anette says that her walking off stage was also caused by the atmosphere among the band that had gone to a negative extreme, along with stress and being away from home and from her son.
English translation of an interview.

"The guys have had ten years of experience in this business, I only have two years under my belt. When people become tired of each other, they become alienated from one another. Every group needs a war sometimes and we hadn't had one in the entire time I have been in the band. We spent our time tiptoeing around each other rather than arguing."

In order to improve things, Anette decided to hire a personal manager. Anette thinks that her decision to hire a personal manager will make things simpler in the band. She will now have someone to deal with her specific needs and avoid further tension with the rest of the band, Nightwish’s management King Foo Entertainment, knew the guys better and served them more than it served her.

"I now understand that Tarja Turunen surely had a good reason to have her own manager and so do I. That doesn't affect my desire to be in the band, though. I believe this decision will help all of us."

Nightwish has confirmed that the supporting acts for their European tour starting next March are Indica and Pain.

Good news for those who can't wait until March to see Emppu on stage again: Brother Firetribe are joining PAIN on their "European Cynic Campaign 2009" tour!

Nightwish have revealed the cover artwork of their upcoming new record "Made In Hong Kong (And In Various Other Places)", on March 6th! The release will contains a DVD documentary showing Nightwish touring the world to promote their latest Album "Dark Passion Play" and CD featuring live tracks.

Nightwish again in Slovenia in July 2009. They will play at Metalcamp 2009.

NIGHTWISH: "MADE IN HONG KONG (AND VARIOUS OTHER PLACES)" MCD + DVD

New Nightwish-release is out at March 2009. MCD was recorded during still continuing "Dark Passion Play World Tour". Release include also bonus-DVD with material from Israel to South-America, directed by Ville Lipiäinen. Tracklist of MCD will be published later.

Nightwish received "Radio Rock Finlandia" -award yesterday in Helsinki Ice-Hall. Last year winner was Hanoi Rocks.
